Learning Tools and Assistive Technology - Phone/Tablet and Computer Applications

There are a growing number of ways for students to access assistive technology on the internet and on their personal electronic devices.  We have noticed that many of our students are bringing their tablets and phones to school.  There are many apps and websites that offer adaptive or assistive support for students with learning challenges.  Independence is important to our students and these apps may be the key to accessing support in their classes.  Some are free and some have a one time cost after a trial period.  There are a great many options, these are only a few suggestions we have tried.  We will keep adding to this page as we find more websites and apps that are useful.
